Some Recipe Tips:
Olives: Opt for high-quality olives, preferably those that are pitted. Kalamata, Castelvetrano, or a mix of your favorites can add depth of flavor.
Olive Oil: Use extra virgin olive oil for the best flavor. It will enhance the overall taste of the marinade.
Fresh Herbs: Use fresh parsley for the best taste. You can also experiment with other herbs like thyme, rosemary, or oregano to add different flavors.
Marination Time: While 2 hours of marination is good, overnight marination is ideal as it allows the flavors to fully develop and meld.
Serving Suggestions: Serve the marinated olives with crusty bread, cheese, and a selection of cured meats for a perfect antipasto platter. You can also add them to salads, pasta dishes, or as a topping for pizza.
Storage: Store the marinated olives in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can last for up to a week and the flavors will continue to develop.
