Elderflower Vodka Tonic with Cucumber & Basil

Ingredients you will need for this recipe:
  • 1 mini cucumber
  • 1 handful of fresh basil
  • 1 lime
  • 6 cl vodka (3 cl per glass)
  • 180 ml elderflower tonic (90 ml per glass)
  • ice cubes

How to make Elderflower Vodka Tonic:

(1) Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the mini cucumber and thinly slice two long strips using a vegetable peeler, then thread them onto a cocktail skewer in a wavy pattern.

Dice the remaining cucumber into small pieces. Wash the fresh basil and pluck the leaves from the stem.

(2) For the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the diced cucumber and basil leaves with the juice of one lime until it forms a green paste.

Add 6 cl vodka and ice cubes to the shaker. Close tightly and shake vigorously. Strain the mixture evenly into two ice-filled cocktail glasses and top each with about 90 ml Elderflower Tonic.

(3) Garnish and Serve

Garnish the rim of each glass with the prepared cucumber skewers and some basil leaves. Serve the Elderflower Vodka Tonic with Cucumber and Basil immediately and enjoy.
