How to make Colorful Fruit Salad:

Thoroughly rinse the blueberries and let them dry off.

Peel the oranges and cut them into small pieces, removing the white membranes.

Wash the peaches, pit them, and cut them into small pieces.

Peel the kiwis and slice them into small pieces.

Wash and halve the green and red grapes.

(2) Mix the Fruit:

Place all the prepared fruit pieces in a large bowl and gently toss to combine.

(3) Amaretto Dressing:

In a small bowl, combine the juice of half a lemon with 2-3 tablespoons of Amaretto.

Pour the dressing over the fruit salad and gently fold it in, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

(4) Serve:

The fruit salad can be served immediately. However, the flavors of the Amaretto will develop even better if the salad is allowed to sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Serve the fruit salad in a large serving bowl or in individual dessert bowls. The salad tastes especially fresh and fruity!

Some Recipe Tips:

Use fresh ingredients: Choose ripe but firm fruits to ensure good texture and flavor in the fruit salad. Seasonal fruits often provide the best taste.

Adjust the Amaretto dressing: Reduce the amount of Amaretto or substitute it with another flavor if a less sweet option is preferred.

Non-alcoholic option: For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the Amaretto. Instead, add a sweetener like honey, brown sugar, or maple syrup.

Add sweetness: If the fruit salad isn’t sweet enough, add a bit of honey or maple syrup to taste. Use small amounts and mix well.

Chill for better flavor: Let the fruit salad sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes after mixing. This allows the dressing to fully absorb the flavors and enhance the overall taste.
