2. Prepare the coating: In a container with a lid, mix powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and gingerbread spice (or cinnamon).

3. Coat with chocolate: Melt the milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Add the roasted almonds and stir until fully coated.

4. Shake and coat: Transfer the chocolate-coated almonds into the container with the sugar mixture, close the lid, and shake until evenly coated.

5. Set and serve: Spread the coated almonds on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them cool and set before serving or storing.

Some Recipe Tips:

Storage: Store the chocolate-covered almonds in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. They should stay fresh for up to 4 weeks.

Variations: Feel free to experiment with different spices such as nutmeg or allspice for a unique flavor twist.

Gift Idea: These almonds make a great homemade gift. Just package them in a cute jar with a ribbon for a festive touch.

Roasting Tip: Be careful not to over-roast the almonds. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning. You want them golden, not dark brown.

Chocolate Choice: While milk chocolate works well for this recipe, dark chocolate or even white chocolate can be used for different flavor profiles.
