This Cherry-Orange Gin Cocktail blends together the flavors of cherries, oranges and various botanical aromas from the Gin. The deep red color and the mystical sparkles from adding some edible gold glitter makes this Cocktail the perfect drink for your next Halloween Party or any other special occasion, where you want to impress your guests.
Ingredients you will need for this recipe:
- 40 ml Gin
- 20 ml Cointreau
- a few dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters
- 100 ml Cherry Juice
- Ice Cubes
- orange peel – to garnish
- sour cherries – to garnish
- white & brown sugar
- Optional: some edible gold glitter
How to make Cherry-Orange Gin Cocktail:
(1) For the Cherry-Orange Gin Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, add 40 ml of Gin, 20 ml of Cointreau, a few drops of Angostura Aromatic Bitters and 100 ml of Cherry Juice.
Make sure the shaker is properly closed and shake vigorously for 10 – 20 seconds.
(2) Garnish & Serve
Strain the Cherry-Orange Gin Cocktail into two cocktail glasses filled with ice cubes.
Optional: To add some mystical sparkle to your drink, you can stir in some edible gold glitter.
Cut some orange peel from a thoroughly washed organic orange and cut it into strips. Twist the orange peel over the glass to release the aromas and add it to the glass. Fully coat 3 sour cherries in white and brown sugar, string them onto a cocktail stick and place them on the rim of the glass.
